ABOUT THE CLIENT

One platform built to bring everyday business operations together.

KMyCo, built by CHL Group, is a mobile-first business automation platform that brings HR, payroll, attendance, CRM, field-team tracking, task management, and internal communication into one cloud-based system.

The product was already capable and had paying users. The challenge was making people remember why MyCo was different in a market where nearly every business software company seemed to be promoting the same set of features.

THE CHALLENGE

A strong product trapped in a category full of look-alike software.

MyCo had the functionality businesses needed, but features alone were not creating a distinct brand. HRMS, payroll, attendance, CRM, task management, and field tracking had become standard talking points across the category.

Another product demo would only add to the noise.
The real challenge was giving MyCo a personality people could recognize, remember, and associate with the everyday frustrations it was built to solve.

– Competitors were promoting nearly identical feature lists
– Administrative software was difficult to make emotionally engaging
– Three polished commercials had to be produced within a controlled budget
– Professional actors and real employees had to feel like part of the same world

Three commercial films built around one recognizable idea: office chaos.

  • Strategy-Creative-Concept

    Strategy & Creative Concept

We moved away from explaining software modules and built the campaign around something every office employee understands: small workplace problems becoming unnecessarily complicated.

  • Scriptwriting-Dialogue

    Scriptwriting & Dialogue

Each film started with a familiar workplace situation and introduced MyCo only after the problem had become recognizable. The product became the resolution, not the opening sales pitch.

  • Casting-Pre-Production

    Casting & Pre-Production

Professional actors were selected for key roles including the CEO and HR lead, while real CHL Group employees appeared in supporting roles to keep the films grounded and authentic.

  • Production-Direction

    Production Direction

KrishaStudio managed the creative direction while production was executed with Morpankh Media. Green-screen and on-location setups gave the team flexibility without pushing production costs unnecessarily high.

  • Editing-Post-Production

    Editing & Post-Production

Editing, visual effects, sound, pacing, and final finishing were handled in-house so all three films maintained the same personality, comic timing, and visual language.

  • Campaign-Rollout

    Campaign Rollout

The work did not end when the videos were exported. KrishaStudio supported the rollout across YouTube and paid campaigns, helping turn the films into awareness and lead-generation assets.

What changed for MyCo.

Short Description of Top Reasons Section

  • A more recognizable brand

MyCo stopped presenting itself like another feature-heavy business tool. The films gave the brand a voice built around recognizable people, situations, and workplace frustrations.

  • More leads and sign-ups

The campaign translated attention into commercial interest. Lead activity and sign-ups increased as the videos reached prospects across organic and paid channels.

  • Stronger campaign engagement

The films became some of CHL Group’s most-watched and shared creative assets, showing that audiences were responding to the story rather than simply consuming another software advertisement.

  • A repeat creative partnership

The strongest signal came after delivery. CHL Group returned to KrishaStudio for additional creative work and rated the experience five stars across review platforms.

FAQ’s

How can video help a SaaS product stand out in a crowded market?

When competing products offer similar features, explaining those features more loudly rarely creates differentiation. A strong video concept can give the product a recognizable personality, show the problem in a relatable way, and make the brand easier to remember.

Should a SaaS company create a product demo or a commercial video?

It depends on the problem you are trying to solve. Product demos are useful when buyers already understand why they need your software and want to see how it works. Commercial or brand-led videos are stronger when the challenge is awareness, differentiation, or emotional connection.

Can employees be used alongside professional actors?

Yes. MyCo used professional actors for key characters and real CHL Group employees in supporting roles. With careful casting, scripting, wardrobe, and direction, the combination can feel authentic while also helping control production costs.

Can one video campaign support both awareness and lead generation?

Yes, when distribution is considered during strategy rather than after production. The MyCo films were created for brand recall but were also deployed through YouTube and paid advertising to move that attention toward sign-ups and leads.
